The software calculates the code that represents the mileage value in the odometers/mileage memory chip, to fully recalibrate the odometer/mileage you will also need a serial programmer and some knowledge of disassembling the dash.

You may need to adjust the mileage / KM on your digital dash if any of the following have occur:
1: The vehicles battery has become discharged and the car had to be jump started.
2: The dashboard may develop an electrical fault.
3: The dashboard may have been damaged in an accident or through vandalism.
4: The speedo may have failed and you were forced to replace it with a new or second-hand unit.
5: A new engine had been fitted.
