Hello, greetings from NH. I am thrilled to be picking up my new c70 hopefully with 10 days! While this may make you folks cringe, I have 3 large dogs that will on occasion be traveling with me in the convertible. I already ordered the dog seat belt harnesses, but I am having a terrible time finding seat covers! Am very mindful of the air bag system, however, many sites I have been on make allowances for the air bags, they just don't have the pattern it seems for the newer c70's. So, I am wondering if anyone has had any luck locating decent seat covers, and also how good is the volvo rear seat protector that drapes over the rear headrests? Volvo site doesn't give allot of detail to the material/quality...Any help greatly appreciated!

Hi, thanks for the response! The dealer a rear seat protector but not allot of information about protection, it drapes over the rear headrests, and I am not sure it has full coverage/good coverage for 300lbs of dogs. Nothing for the passenger seat according to the dealer. I will also try to website you reference.

What kind of dogs get to ride around in a C70 Convertible?

 

Morning Jim, I have a 75 lb female Shepherd, a 114 lb Golden, and a 90 lb Yellow Lab, all from the dog pound!

 

Do they like the top down? You need to post a picture of three dogs in the backseat with the top down, but the car has to be moving. 114 lb Golden is pretty big for a Golden. I have had seven of them and have two right now. Great dogs.

I think they need a C70 Convertible to ride around in too.

 

I have two goldens as well. Both males. Each weighs around 110 to 115 pounds.

 

Oh my! Beautiful! I have been telling my husband that the dogs in the car with the top down would be a super Christmas Card. I am hoping they will like the top down!

Tried to upload a photo of the three of them, keeps telling me the file is too big?

 

Pull the picture up in some Picture Software like Microsoft Office Picture Manger and resize the picture to like web large. When I unload directly from my digital camera I have to resize them to put them up also. Once you resize it save it under a differnet name and then upload the saved one. Don't wipe out the original picture as it came out of the camera. The resize is usually under tools at the very top of the window. Let me know if you have problems, let us know. Somebody will walk you right through it.

That car is going to be full. It would make a neat picture with the three of them with the top down.
