Exclamation Volvo 850 alarm/horn. Bushings question too

I have a 97 glt and the horn works when I have the key in the car when when I hit the panic button the lights flash but no horn. Is it the alarm relay sticking or something? Also does anyone know if you truly need a hydraulic press to put lower control arm bushings in? I want to do it myself but I can't if that's the case and the book said I need it

There is a seperate horn that is round that operates the alarm. They have a nut on them that comes loose sometimes. The nut can be adjusted or tighened if it's still there. You may have to replace it.

As for the control arm, search the 850 section for the answer. You may want to try the frequently used threads post.

Ok, I found t and it was loose, but I'm guessing I need a new one because it is just kind of clicking a little now
