Volvo XC60 2015 Not 2015.5 Sensus Vs. RTI Map Updates

Volvo XC60 2015 Not 2015.5 Sensus Vs. RTI Map Updates
I just purchased a brand new used (dealer demo model) XC60. It is model year 2015, not 2015.5. One feature I was excited about was lifetime map updates via USB.

which makes it pretty clear that a 2015 should get lifetime updates via USB... but it's not working. Also, I do not have the globe under My Car as the second website states... I'm starting to think, because I don't have a 2015.5, that the USB update is not going to work and I need to do the only 2 free times DVD update. Does anyone have more words on this?
Oh yah, software version is 0C72
