"Standard Volvo bolt pattern for most models in the last 20+ years is 5x108mm or 5x4.25".
S40N/V50 centerbore: 63.5mm 850/S/V/C70 centerbore: 65mm S60/V70 centerbore: 65mm XC90 centerbore: 67mm I didn't list the first gen S/V40 because they use a 4 bolt lug pattern. Also, the '93 850 uses a 4 lug pattern too, IIRC it's 4x100. If you want to use the XC90 wheel, you'll need use hub centric rings to make up the difference. If you don't, you'll get a nasty vibration generally at or around 50mph +. It will feel like a wheel is out of balance. If you want to use a wheel from the "new" S40/V50, you will have to find a way to adapt to the smaller centerbore, possibly by machining the centerbore out 1.5mm." http://www.v70r.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=2904 |
