XC60 bonnet closing problem.

XC60 bonnet closing problem.

Today i had much panic after cleaning car including under the bonnet. The bonnet would not close. The left hand catch had moved and blocked the closure. Tried many things but after an hour or two of deliberation I found the answer was so so easy.
just lifted the yellow release lever and all was reset.
posted this just in case someone else is in panic mode

That situation can be very stressful, and your simple solution could really help someone else avoid the same panic. Lifting the yellow release lever isn’t obvious, so this tip is definitely useful.
