2007 XC90 V8 power steering pump has small leak. Dealer wants over $2000 to replace the pump. I think that's outrageous. Is this a job the average guy can do or the average auto repair?. Are there any additives compatible with power steering fluid that will seal the leak?. I'm not new to auto repair. I rebuilt the entire motor on my 1956 Olds Delta 88. Power steering pumps used to easily accessible. Remove belt, take off a few bolts, clamp a few lines and it's done. I've owned Volvos since 1978.
