Hello all,
I have a 2006 S40 2.4 N/A and bought a dynomax muffler (Camaro/firebird) I believe. With some dynonax exhaust tips to be welded on...what should I expect, should I have them do anything else on install next Thursday?

I also plan to add the CCI CAI as well then head to suspension

 

You shouldn't expect any power gains to be blunt. Don't know if that's what you're shooting for or not. Maybe you'll get better sounds, but all that matters is if you like it

 

Yes looks and a little sound...like I said a cai exhaust then money will be spent on suspension and wheels then rest of exterior. I was just curious if anyone had and experience with dynomax and if so what kind of sound should I expect.

 

Intake sounds are entertaining lol, but I haven't done much exhaust wise before, mainly just downpipes on turbo cars because I never kept one long enough to finish. Always hard deciding based on youtube videos!

 

Correct lol...yeah intake for engine noise basically...I know these cars are pointless for performance. So muffler/intake still saved me money for a cat back.

 

I will update tomorrow one installed...

 

Work came out good sound is what I was looking for...just have to get the rear diffuser...
