Opinions/Advice on EGR Delete
Hey fellas.
I have been doing lots of reading since I purchased my new truck and its my first diesel so I’m still learning about them. I do see where there was a recall for the EGR cooler but it says it has been “complete”. If I click on the link though, it says the recall is for the 2014-2015 trucks - I bought a 2019 so Im a little confused as to why that was a recall for my truck. Anyways, I know some people have 0 issues running bone stock and some are not even wiling to take the chance of keeping the eco-friendly components and think deleting is absolutely the way to go, some even think doing it before the warranty runs out is a good idea. What do y’all think about an EGR delete? My truck only has 250 miles. Im thinking maybe run it for a couple thousand and see how it goes. I’m kind of getting paranoid - I should have never read the ”failure“ discussion!!! |
