960 seat bracket
 

Iv got a '95 960 and the driver seat has a bad motor. so it dosnt move forward and back. i decided to switch the to front seats so at least i can move my seat. i took da for lrg screws out but when i got da seats out i noticed a pin weilded in the middle of both rails that slides into a notch on da floor of the car. I cant seem to switch those seats now couse the pins are off buy a couple inchs from the middle of the rail for the left and right side. i guess my question is could i just cut these pins off or not? thx

Well you could but the seat might not sit straight.
Are you sure the motor is bad and not just the cable? If one side moves and the other didn't it is just a bad cable.
