im thinking about buying an 88 240...the only problem is the hideous musterd colored cloth seats. would it be worth it to dye them and the carpet or should i just get a pair of racing seats off of ebay?

i heard that when you dye automotive cloth, you can't really get it to be black

 

Get racing seats and or upgrade to leather seats.

How hard is it to put in racing seats? Do they fit in the mounts or the already drilled screws that the mounts fit in? I'm more worried about the safety, if i don't install them right and am forced to drill screws, how safe is that during an accident?
