I have a 2001 gold Volvo XC70 and also a 2006 green Volvo XC70. The gold 1 has 205000 miles on the motor and the green 1 has 230000. The green one runs and drives. And it's a solid car but 4th gear is out on the transmission so I have to manually put it from 1 to 2 to 3.  The gold one about a year ago,. I hit a speedbump at about 35 miles an hour and the motor just died right there. Don't know much about mechanics, so I do know someone can have a great deal.
