I bought this car new from Junge Volvo in Hiawatha, IA We are empty nesters so the back seats have been seldom used.  It has NEVER had someone smoke in the car. It is always garaged except for trips out of town.  It has 37,000 miles on it and has a posted average of 38.6 miles per gallon for the 37,000 miles.  The battery will get me around town (21 miles on full electric, slightly less in winter) and then will switch automatically over to the 4 cylinder engine in hybrid mode. 

 It has mode selection for full electric, hybrid, engine only and even an off-road setting.  Never used off road.  If switching the car to off road it will automatically raise 4-5 inches for added clearance. It does have air shocks and that is one of the best add on for any SUV.  The ride is much smoother.  Like they say, it rides like a Cadillac.

 

It has a 2-inch trailer receiver that I had installed.  I have NEVER pulled anything and have only used it for an electric bike. Mud guards and side molding (prevents door dings) are installed. It gets hand waxed professionally once per year.  Never been in an accident. Tires have only 7,000 miles on them.
