1993 940 turbo wagon 2.3 L....hit a parked car, mashed up my front end (front bumper ok). My Ins covered the other car, but have no coverage for my end..hood is done, engine (turbo) still turns over. I'm getting up some serious dough for what a collision Insurance mechanic has told me is going to require a 'front clip' off of another 940 to weld on to my baby to bring her back. The front frame also got knocked a few degrees to the right, but mech can re-align it. everything back of windshield is unharmed... have to pay out of pocket, have been quoted 6k+ for this. My big question: can a clip of a non-turbo fit the bill, or do I need the same exact same model (turbo) clip, in order to fit the turbo room needed underneath. I am of course, SICK about it.. any of you guys have had any similar experiences with this. my wagon is a 1993 940 turbo 2.3.
any other info needed, please advise. PLEASE don't tell me to junk it, unless you have a a similar vehicle for sale cheap.
