ok, tonight i think lack of money is forcing me to do my own blower motor. It was just done last year in my 240. there is duct tape on the left (drivers side) plastic panel under the panel where my knee is. I dont know whats under the duct tape and if this will help or not. I've read the cleanflametrap post on it and seen the pics. Any last minute advice? basically, i remove the side panels, the front panel where the ac controls and switches are, reattach the switches to the wires so i dont lose them, take the clips and panels off, take the impellers off and slide the motor out? i also have a new switch and resistor. I'm concerned frankly about getting in over my head, but a mans' gotta do what a mans gotta do.
