1995 Volvo 850 - Dash lights on

Hey guys, I'm here in the Houston area. I got a Volvo GLT passed down that has been sitting since 9/2015. I just bought a new instrument cluster and was informed by a mechanic who took it apart that the replacement cluster was not a match. Anyways, long story short, I heard a "pop" driving it home and now the stereo doesn't work. :( Also the right wiper doesn't work :(... This all happened today. I'm just trying to get it road-ready and instpected!! Not to mention I was charged $127 just to see loose screws on the floor along with a gap and just a botch job on this poor car.. now no radio :((. I've got 2 teens and really am trying to get this car on the road for them (and me) to enjoy. Any recommendations/suggestions?? #.help!

best to post technical questions to the model specific board (let me know and I can move this thread). 1) replacement clusters for a 95 850 should be easy to find - don't use one from a turbo as you don't need a boost gauge. They can be swapped out in about 30 minutes (I can offer instructions or google how to repair the odometer gear on an 850 to see how to lift up the dash cover to access the cluster) 2) for the radio - does it power up? do you get any noise? Again replacement radios can be found and install in about 2 minutes - just make sure you get the four digit security code with the radio. Easy find on eBay. My advise is upgrade to the model like the SC 816 with the CD player. Note if yours has a black or gray face. If you want the FM/cassette only, message me and I can sell you a working unit for cheap (with code) 3) if one wiper blade is working and the other is not, its likely the rod to the motor has disconnected - you need to pop off the tray on top of the cowling by the base of the windshield to access the wiper motor to check the connecting rod.
