2001 cem part no 308966797 fits a 2002 Volvo s40
 

I just got a call from a scrapyard in Atlanta. The have a central electronics module which fits according to the Volvo website a 2001 Volvo s40.

Now my Volvo is a 2002 s40 and the central electronics module part number is 36012720. According to this site the 2001 s40 central electronic module
part number is 30896697 is interchangeable with the 36012720.

It should be interchangeable with the 36012720 Volvo part that fits the 2001 Volvo s40.

Is this true?
