Canadian winter oil reco's

Hello,

I just picked up a 2016 XC90 T6 Inscription with 100K/Kms on it. I want to take extremely good care of this vehicle :)
I use Mobil 1. Any thoughts on what grade of oil I should use for a Toronto winter?

Any thoughts or general comments greatly appreciated!!

Wow! The manual make recommendations for viscosity. You'll be down in the coldest setting. Make sure you don't have any moisture in your fuel system that could freeze. Also you're about at the point for needing front brake pads. Check them out. Good luck. I have a feeling this winter will be a rough one!

Per the owners manual: Full synthetic engine oil meeting the minimum ACEA A5/B5 must be used. Volvo likes to suggest Castrol Edge (as does my VW) but you can read labels in Walmart to see which synthetics meet that spec (I suspect most do including Mobil 1). Viscosity can be 5W-30 down to-22F (-30C) - if you expect to see temps below that you should use 0W-30. Car should take about 5.9L (assume you do the filter as well),
