Does your blower motor work fine on Low and High? When you first start the car, it takes a few minutes for heat because it uses the heat from the engine to warm the air. With it working after a bump, sounds like something is loose. I wouldn't replace a whole blower motor just yet. It isn't as bad to get to as the newer volvos, but still not a fun time. I believe it is located in the passenger foot area. If you get a new blower motor, it does not come with the resistor (allows variable speed) and would cost extra on top of that. I am sure there are videos on youtube for replacing a blower motor in your car. I would search those up and use them as guidance to check your wire connections to the motor.

The fan would blow heat when it would kick in. When driving around when it would it would blow heat.and when you would shut off car & go to restart there would be no heat.i did smell electrical smell one day while in the car. So I知 not sure if it痴 the Blower Motor resistor or Blower Motor. I知 trying to figure out if resistor is near by the blower motor & easy access.

The resistor sits under the squirrel cage on the blower motor. You need to remove the cage to get to the resistor under it. FWIW, if you get a working blower motor from the junk yard, they usually come with the resistor in it and run about 30-50$, but you don't know how long they will last.
