Hello from Massachusetts

Just wanted to say hello as I have bought my first Volvo. I wanted a cheap convertible for the Summer and found a 1999 C70 T5 for cheap money. It needs some tinkering and some small items missing to get it in decent shape. Hopefully I can find a parts car in a scrapyard that I can pillage from.

Congratulations on your purchase and welcome! Lots of great people here and tons of good information to be found!

car-part.com is a good resource for finding recycle yards who have some Volvos in the yard. Erie VoVo is a nationally known yard specializing in Volvos as well. I also like using car-part.com to check what models share the same parts (ie some V70/S70 parts are common with the C70s)

I have used car-part in the past for some auto parts that I needed. There are a lot of auto recyclers here in New England. Thanks for the name of the place in Erie.
