I wish I joined over better circumstances, I've had nothing but trouble since I purchased my 2001 V70.

How long have you had the V70? 2001 was the first year that Ford had control.

 

Hello RSPI, as far as I know it's not under the Ford control. I had the transmission rebuilt but the car still has an issue, when I come to a full stop it takes a bit to engage again. I called the mechanic and he says all it needs is a software update...any thoughts?

 

Welcome to the forum. Mechanic could be right. Software upgrade fixed a problem I had with my 02 S60.
