Hi-
I just found this forum and signed on.
I have been looking for an older wagon for awhile now. I am a bit worried, though, because I read so many of the later 1980's wagon seem to have problems that are unidentifiable.
I am looking for a 1980's(ish) wagon- not a classic. I have found several- Edmunds.com/CarSpace, Ebay, Auto Trader, Car Max- do you have any other suggestions on where to look?
Any other things I should know or beware of?

In general, please post questions either in the vehicle-specific forums or General Volvo Chat.

I personally would look for a vehicle made in the late 90s. The initial cost is indeed higher but if you consider the parts to be replaced, as well as the age & accumulated mileage, this may be less expensive down the road.
