Left Coast Wannabe 240 owner

Currently a one car Subaru family looking for an automatic 240 wagon for my kid. Seems to be a good choice according to my research. Any suggestions as to potential problems or reasons to buy or not to buy would be helpful.

Cheers!

Probably not going to be that easy to find. They quit making them in 93 (+/- a year) and the people that have them tend to keep them. Other than that probably a good choice. They are probably the most realiable and easiest to work on of any of the Volvo's made in the last 20 years. Good luck.

Hi, Man giving up the subaru for a volvo..... sound's a bit like my senario...
i miss my Subaru, but i also love my ovlov, the one thing you will find is that there WILL BE oil on your garage floor, volvo's seem to love to leak... my Subaru 1998 forester never lost a drop with 140,000km on the clock, had the car for 5 years never cost me one cent.., my volvo 2001 v70 2.4t has a few issues 87,000km, leaking cam seals (saving the money for the repairs about $450.00 AUD just for the seal's and labour, while they are there they may as well change the timing/serpantine belt another $200.00 AUD total $650.00+gst =About $715.00 ). It would be cheaper to fly Tech out to Australia for a working holiday.
Anyway go the Volvo you will love the car but you will miss the Jap Subaru..
