Ive bought a river cruiser from a widow, no paperwork came with the boat and Im a bit stuck. Just had the engine serviced and immediately the starter moter died. Can anyone identify the engine from the photos?

Valve/cam cover looks like a b230. Cast iron red block, (in a car) with single overhead belt driven camshaft.
