My new 1987 Volvo 240DL

Just picked up a 1987Volvo 240 DL which is now my daily driver. Love it so far, really is unlike everything ive owned which i think is the most appealing thing about it. So much for the intro!

Cheers!

Hello! Another 1987 240DL

Greetings to all! My name is Dave and I recently purchased a 1987 240DL as well. I call him Pepe. Pepe has quite a laundry list of issues, but as with any Volvo I hope to get them ironed out in short order at reasonable cost. I previously owned a 1979 245 and I did quite a variety of repairs and consequently gained a lot of respect for the engineering behind these great vehicles. Here are a few photos for your viewing pleasure. The hood is open because it keeps draining my battery and it's being charged. Just one of Pepe's problems...https://cimg3.ibsrv.net/gimg/volvofo...8260540e53.jpgFront
