I would suggest that you do some research on the 99-00 S80's because they have transmission problems. My transmission went bad on my 99 S80 at 114k miles and I had to replace it with a new one for $3,500 plus tax. I heard its a GM transmission in which many people of had there share of problems with. I heard they made them better with the 02 and beyond models. If I were you the only way I would ever buy that 99 S80 is if the transmission has been replaced with a new one. And besides the transmission problems the 99 model was the first year Volvo made the S80 and I heard they have many bugs like electical problems. The best ones are the 02 and beyond.

If you do end up with the 99 then check www.ipdusa.comand www.fcpgroton.comas well as www.ebay.comfor aftermarket parts. If you www.google.comVolvo parts you'll get a bazillion hits. Good luck.
