Hi! I'm buying my very first car tomorrow, and it's a Volvo 1981 244 GL 183,000kms light blue colour just about everything is original and in very good condition.

I'm very excited, and I've been reading reviews and forums and people seem to really love these cars, and I'm interested to be a part of the community.

Never thought I'd have a Volvo myself, but I really liked this car as soon as I saw it, and I want to take good care of it and maybe do some mild modifications someday to make it look extra nice.

If you guys like, I'll try to post some pictures of it some time..

Also I intend to do repairs and work on the car myself where possible so I hope to use these and other similar forums to help me with that!

Those cars have a cult following in my opinion, and I think will always be around. Great choice for a first car. Def. post pics. so we know what u have and what you are doing with it. This forum is def. a lot of help in keeping up with your car but also helping save money too in the long run! Good luck with the purchase. Welcome aboard!
