New (very used) S60 T5 AWD
Hello everyone,
I just picked up the S60 so I can put the Mustang on blocks over the winter. I bought it knowing that I need to replace the Throttle position sensor and crank position sensors. Both of those parts are on the way. I've read through the timing belt sticky and need to go through the service records and see when that is due next. Car has 207,xxx on the clock now. I hope to do shocks and struts soon. Car looks great and I hope I get a few years of good service out of it. Anything else I should investigate prior to putting it on the road? Thanks, David |
PCV (oil trap / oil system), transmission fluid. Depends on year though. After 07 they don't really have this issue. Never worked on an awd but from what I hear the only difference from fwd is they're harder to work on due to lack of space in bay. Good luck.
edit: just saw it's 04. Just check the pcv (soft glove over oil deposit should suck in - blowing out, needs service), and tranny fluid (should be red, if not, start draining and replacing intermittently). |
