New XC70 Owner, collecting Tuesday
Hi All
Over on a certain other Forum, I do get really cheesed off with this sort of first posting:
HEY!! YOU PEOPLE! MY CAR HAS PROBLEMS, AND I DEMAND ANSWERS...
That's no way to introduce oneself... I'm a civilised type not given to such rudeness. And anyway, I haven't even got the car yet.
It's replacing a Skoda Octavia estate, also 2012, has 15k less miles and being sat higher, is easier for us to get in and out of. Mainly for SWMBO's use, not needing the 4WD complication just for the shops. We're not completely ancient, but intend to keep the car for when we are... And at about twice the original price compared to the Octy, this is a different world, now within reach, thanks to the magic of depreciation. While new cars don't even have CD players. What are they thinking.
I appreciate the value of car forums, the mix of banter and useful info, and will call by regularly.
