109k Kms is way below average for 2005 so that's good. The 2.5T is a very reliable engine and easy to work on but may be a tad small for an XC90 so just make sure you are ok with the power. Most of the teething problems for the XC family were 2004 but transmission issues seem to be a common area of concern along with axles. If you can get the maintenance history and a professional inspection (to check transmission fluid quality etc) that's a good start. During your test drive pay attention to shifting to see if there's any hard shifting for flares. If you sense anything odd about the transmission, move on.
