Hi everyone, just joined site & loving seeing different subjects & solutions. I need help with 2 minor subjects. My 1st is im going to inspect my 2010 V50 discs & pads over the holidays & replace if needed. I've done this before on a couple of old fords & an old rover but without the need for a proper piston retractor but want to buy & use the proper tool for the V50. There seems to be many to chose from online so not sure what to pick. Im not really bothered about cost & not after a big kit just the 1 tool for the V50 as the plan is to keep the car as long as possible.
My 2nd is a bit more puzzling. Can anyone tell me what this switch in the pic is as ive asked a few people & only responses are mainly its not a volvo part but probably an after part? It makes a click sound when pressed when enginr is running but doesn't seem to do anything & I dont really want to dismantle the steering casing if I dont have to. Tia
