Volvo S40 1.6 D year 2010. 170,000 Km.
 

Hello Everyone, i would b very happy if someone could help please. I have been driving my Volvo S40 the last 2 years, gave no trouble, serviced every 10K Km. But 2 days ago a light came up sayin ENGINE SYSTEM. SERVICE URGENT. I brought to a local mechanic, he plugged it in but he told me that i have to bring to main VOLVO DEALER as his computer wont tell exactly what is wrong with it, it only says fluid additive. Does any of you have come accross this. Like the car is driving same as before, same power and all, like no change is performance, only the red punctual mark is there with the above message i mentioned. Rang Volvo dealer, and they can only book in my car for friday next, but i need car for work the next 4 days,i have no other way to go to work, is it risky to take a chance and drive to work the next 4 days. It might sound stupid question, but trust me guys, i know nothing about car, even for a bulb i bring it to the mechanic. Any advice and help is greatly appreciated.
