you can either use the image icon (the one with the sun and mountains next to the smiley face) on the edit bar to upload from your device or select "Go Advanced" for more posting features.

example: I selected the image icon, selected browse my device to find my pictures folder, selected a JPEG and then selected Upload in the upper right corner and "voila!"
