Looking for a good Volvo mechanic in MD

Live in the Laurel, MD area. Looking for a place to take my S60. Someplace honest, good prices and where I won't get ripped off.

Thanks

So would I. For purely mechanical work near Takoma Park, I go to Murray's if I can't do it myself.

In the meantime, as a new owner of a 2006 V50, Herb Gordon Volvo has been professional and prompt for both my visits. They offer daily "loaner" rental at subsidized rates, or free shuttle to Metro.

Going there is spendy, but the level of personal attention matches the "aspirational" nature of the brand. (The high dealer maintenance cost is part of why I could afford to buy my car in the first place; Volvo used value drops fast partly because used car buyers are faced with fixed dealer maintenance charges for all electronic service.)

Volvo corporate keeps a TIGHT control over the software and diagnostic part of the operation, so general indy shops can't afford to keep up with the corporate charges if Volvo is only one of the brands worked on.
