I was just wondering what the Value of a 1988 Volvo 240 with 140,000 miles on it is?

Check out KBB.com or the NADA blue book for your region of the country.

They are nothing special really so you shouldnt run into someone asking way too much for some BS intrinsic value...

You can also check Cars.com and Autotrader.com and see what similar cars are listed at. Private seller price should be lower than dealer.

I will say, that for a 22 year old car, 140,000 is low mileage, so if it's clean too, I'd say should be worth something to the right buyer (i.e., someone who wants a 240, not just a cheap car ;-)). Most cars that old will have more like 300,000 if they're still on the road.
