ECU Upgrade for a Non-Volvo

I have a friend who has a '90s Ford wagon (DOHC, 4-cyl) and would like to get an ECU upgrade. I know I'd go to ipd for my ECU upgrade, but since his car isn't a Volvo...where would be the best place for him to send his ECU to be upgraded?

Most of the Chipping sites in the volvo resource thread should have chips for most cars, and makes....

You and your friend might want to check out a ford forum....and see what they like...
