I have one of the Gtech meters..............don't believe the numbers!!! It is useful to see if your tuning has improved the base numbers that you have set but the H.P. numbers are quite "optimistic"................ The track days at a driver's school are averaging $60.00 to enter............really not that bad. The cost is in brakes and tyres. There are 'no passing' areas but sometimes an idiot will hot dog it and if he hasn't been tossed off the track, he generally ends up breaking things. The 'other' problem is that if you happen to 'bend' your auto, your insurer will disclaim coverage.

Thanks one of these days I might have enough money to go and take the school.
I would love to do it. I love taking the corners so fast that you are SLAMMED up against the door and can't move.
I do more that just drive straight. I love the corners.

One day I would also like to buy and install the little computer thing that gives all your times and the G's you are going straight and turning.

I thought I almost won one on a Mustang forum but the guy skipped out and closed the forum down after the contest. I was the only one that made it in the end for the contest. Then he extended it and closed the forum down.

Reg, I know how much you love dots, but couldn't you just end your sentences with a simple period. It would be easier for yourself, of course.

Cut some slack..............I'm old enough to be your grand father for Gods sake!!! What happened to the respect that is given to "old" people?? Since yesterday was veterans day, you should know that I spent two tours in the Nam.................was shot, machete'd, was a prisoner.............so you see............I have a right to periods!!!

I believe it was Mustangsite.com

I was so mad to find out they shut down I deleted everything.

I had over 500 posts there within the first couple of months.

I carried a machete, K-bar, 45, M-16, and quite often, a Sako 30-06. I spent my time very far north and also nort west. At one point, I was in a difficult situation and the "people" who 'claimed' me, used my machete to keep my attention.............no, the sharp side was not used, the back of it was. The sharp side could split wood! Needless to say, I am here today.

That's impressive considering it's electronically limited at 150. Or did you remove the governator? I've only taken my T6 up to 105 and it feels smooth. Have you ever redlined it?

i just drove it up to that speed, speedometer kept going up so i just kept holding the accelerator down...and i have redlined ,lol in tiptronic mode (went past 40mph in first gear), not that much but its restricted to a certain amount of how much u can red line it....I sorta did it in a race with a gs400 , which i had a tough time passing, neck and neck race, but if we were on the highway i wudda had him!
