Windshield washer fluid
some new clothes from old navy
beer...
nothing too exciting lately
As I am tricycle-less at the moment, being able to buy a washer fluid is such an exciting privilege.
Anyway:
1. Lexus LS600hL (Fujimi, 1/24, $20)
2. Flu shot ($18, to be reimbursed)
3. Quite a few $ would be expected for holiday gifts to friends in the States.

Im making Recent within the realm of about a month just to make it interesting
- 2005 Suzuki GSXR-1000 w/ yoshihira exhaust and 2 $200+ speeding tickets included with purchase...
- Parts for a gas turbine engine
- Marshall JCM-900 amp...
Do you work for Scaled Composites? What parts did you buy for the turbine engine?
I once had a Mesa-Boogie (50W) and it was one of the finest & most durable industrial products around. I would love to buy one of their single-speaker amps (50W/100W), with 7 pre-amp stage tubes and 4 power-amp tubes (6L6GC, as opposed to Marshall's EL34's). Too bad the tag is approx $2,000. I now only have GK (Gallien-Krueger, based in California) solid-state, twin-speaker 50W model (tiny). But GK makes the best solid-state guitar ampson the planet; it really produces tube-liketones when you play artificial harmonics. My primary guitar is a Kramer (now defunct) stratocaster-shaped, genuine Floyd-Rose tremolo unit, with humbacker rear pickup (Duncan), but I don't like the humbacker; itwould sound better with a Dimarzio. My secondary is aFender strato, but it is Japanese and compared to genuine American-made, it is a cr@p. I plan to sell it but will restore the Kramer.

RE: Recent Purchases (Car, Etc...)
I dont work for scaled composites.. But the parts so far are a cummins turbocharger, a junkyard oil pump, a computer power supply, a 12v motor, and a whole lot of stanless steel piping and fittings...
I love mesas, especially the dual recto's, great sound, but ive played mostly electric and own a ESP mh-400 and Jackson SL1 soloist..
fun stuff

RE: Recent Purchases (Car, Etc...)
I already posted this elsewhere but it fits in better here...
Just bought parts to change the clutch master cylinder, clutch slave cylinder, timing and serpentine belts, water pump and oil and oil filter. (~$240).
Oh, and I also had to buy a new tire after getting a flat on the Volvo on Sunday. The only place open was Walmart, so I got the only tire that fit for $90, now I have to decide whether to get one more so they match or buy two better quality tires to match and keep the $90 one around for a spare.

RE: Recent Purchases (Car, Etc...)
I would keep the tyre as a full-size spare in the trunk.
I got...
TAMIYA:
- Mazda RX-7 R1.
- Porsche 911 GT3 (Very sharp looking but not as sharp as the V-10 Carrera GT)
- Porsche 959 (kind of an ugly car)
AOSHIMA:
- Toyota Celsior (Lexus LS430)
- Toyota Soarer (Lexus SC400)
Tamiya once made 850 sedan & wagon but they are discontinued and are no longer in production. What a pity.

RE: Recent Purchases (Car, Etc...)
Eight poinds of top round beef to make beef jerky. Going to try my new meat slicer shortly. At least wife is not here to tell me what I'm doing wrong. She's watching the Grandkids today, so I'm here alone for a while anyway. Home alone with a meat slicer. Life is good.
Oh yeah, 20 guarts of oil too. All three cars need an oil change. I boiught four 5 quart bottles on Valvoline 10W30 Super Blend for High Mileage Cars at Walmart. Combination of beef and oil along with a few other little things cost me around $90.00 At Walmart those five quart bottles are only around $11.00. Not a bad price for five quarts. The Blend is now cheaper than the non-synthetic.
