Looks like a nice turn out. So...did you meet or know the owner of the 80 GT turbo? Pretty sure that's Roger P's sled...
Must be nice to have water as a back ground...Here in Texas, we try to share a mud puddle. By the time it's my car's turn, the puddle looks more like a cow pie

I did not get to talk to him in person. I was parked only like 4 to 5 cars from that car.
I think that is his car. I kind of remember that name. I do know there is a ton of gauges inside the car. LOL

Wow...that's cool. Yeah, I'd bet money that's his car...I have several pics of his car that are a big part of my inspiration "wall". He restores the rallye clusters and also sells repro GT stripe kits. I don't think his car's engine is too modded beyond being a turbo motor...still, when you start hot rodding turbo motors, ya can't have enough gauges. I know on my GT, I'm swapping in an 81+ dash just so I can have the extra space for gauges to the right of the cluster. Looks like a good meet!

Overall is was a good turn out unofficial numbers were 57.
Also the pick of the lowered 242 gt is a buddies of mine. That is also a turbo conversion car.

Tech, are you a member of VCOA? I was wondering if there is any value to joining. There is not a chapter in my state and I'm not sure if it's worth joining if the closest meet is over 200 miles away. Hard to see any value in it.

If I join I would try to start a chapter here in Arkansas. I guess I could get guys/gals to have meets, go to local car shows and maybe even go the the drag strip an hour and a half away from me. I don't know, any thoughts from ANYONE?

What model car is the one with the DAN 0424 plate on the front? Looks like a tricked out S70.

Most of those cars are so clean I think I would be embarrased to have my car there.
