Detailed the exterior of the car with this EZDetailer spray stuff. This stuff is amazing. My clear coat is normally a little cloudy in spots but this makes my car look like it was just painted. It has Carnauba in it, maybe that's the difference.
They claim it's a cleaner and polisher but I cleaned my car first.

Today, I drove my 1992 Volvo 240 Wagon to Omaha, Nebraska... about an hour and a half to a two hour trip. So we get there, and my car starts sputtering and jerking, and finally died going onto the on ramp of I-80. Let it sit and cool a while considering it was a fairly hot day. After that it ran almost fine to almost where we needed to get. Got to a stoplight, it started sputtering, and died. Had to push it onto the shoulder up an extremely busy street. Again, I let it sit a while. After a couple minutes, gave it a try again and made a mad dash across the intersection to a near by gas station. Figuring it was bad gas we got at a gas station i don't get gas from, we got heat and put it in the tank. After that, seemed to run fine, but I decided to take it to the Gorges Volvo dealership up there because they'd look at it for free for an hour, so I figured "Why not?" Well on the way there, we took a wrong turn onto a wrong exit, finally found an off ramp to turn around on, and head in the right direction. Died once mid interstate... pretty scary... again, let it sit! Got it started up, and yet again, another wrong turn and it died yet again! Finally got fed up with it, and decided to call road side assistance. After like 40 some odd minutes, a tow truck shows up. After talking to my dad, he said it was probably vapor locked... or the fuel pump over heated. I told the tow people this, and they said start it, and we will follow you a couple blocks to see if it does it again. It did not. Finally made it to the dealership with no problem on the way there, and got them to look at it. It was a bad distributor cap. Labor was $55. Total was $81.99. They also told me that the in-tank fuel pump isn't working, (gonna post and ask if that's an involved thing to replace soon) and to not let the gas level get below half. They estimated $300 some odd dollars for a new pump. Looked it up when I got home... they're only $42. The distro cap was only like $6. Wasn't too happy to find out Volvo was going to rape me on parts, but hey, got a problem fixed. It could have broken down somewhere worse I suppose. Any way, that is what I did to my car today!

Got my odometer cog. Pulled dashboard apart, instrument panel out, pulled panel apart, pulled odometer out, found out the small cog which usually breaks is not the one broken in my car. Put panel back together, put it back in car, put dashboard back together, ordered correct cog. Now at least I will replace both brand new.

replaced to "most-wanted" fuse #30, 15 amp for cigarette lighter, got shifter going again and on my way yo get front brakes after i found out yesterday that breaking at high speed( 160) gave a bit a rumble and shakes in the steering wheel, after that's done i go tinker with the locks.. tailgate wont lock.. door passenger site wont open with interior handle....
after all that.. a cold beer in my sunny Canadian backyard
