Well that sure beat my 1995 850 Turbo with 215k miles. I know a guy that works at the dealership where I go buy parts from with a 1991 940 with 300k miles.

I think the only thing original left is the gas tank. LOL, no, actually a lot of it is still original. One year I read an article that said his average repairs (other than services oil, etc.) were only like $167 per year. Not much was breaking on that car. He picked it up on a Friday and took it in on Monday for it's 1st 1,500 mile service. He was driving something like 70 miles per day back and forth to work. At 1 million mile, Volvo started the high milage club and gave him a 780 Bertone. He was having engine rebuilds at something like every 360,000 miles.

Talking 210K for me

My sweet Virginia Volvo, 1998 S70 currently has 210K and with a 40 mile commute (one way) to work now, I'm sure she is going to get up there pretty darn quick.

Does the turbo still work on your 740 volvoQ's? How's the gas milage with turbo?

I have a 98 s70 with 22 miles on the odometer...stored in a garage for 15 years....just had to replace the battery...works like a charm....worth about 9000K

Unfortunately I think theodometer might have done an 80's flip...999,9999 and went to 0 again don't know -Shrug-

Turbo's don't really hurt gas milage. Only effects milage under hard driving.

If gas were FREE and there were no speed limits, I'd probably have 1 million on a few of mine.
