compression test judgement 5.0 (302 ford
 

I have sweet and new looking 1994 5.0 Penta engine which I plan to install in my boat..
did a compression test that reflects real problems but I suspect the poor readings are due to it sitting since 2006, only being started a couple of times to demonstrate it runs to a buyer. It looks so fresh it could pass as new. I wonder if there is a layer of light rust in the cylinders/valves that may clean up after running or maybe I should send it to be rebuilt.. some opinions please!! here are the readings...

I squirt oil in #5 and got 144
it is a 2 barrel version that is rated at 205 hp mounted in a 94 19' Larson

the 104's are due to a cracked block... it has a new engine now
