Does anybody near Detroit, MI have the tool to reset the SRS light on a 1999 V70? I would really appreciate any help on this. Thanks in advance

Go to Autozone. They have the OBDII reader and they can clear your codes.

 

Thanks for the reply, but the typical OBD code reader only resets the engine code faults. I tried the Actron - Murray's had one, and then my buddy had the CP9185 which is one of their higher end units. My mechanic has the Snap-On system but still could not reset the SRS code - his may have been because he does not work on foreign cars and the software could be old. The Actron guy said the OTC Gensys will do it ($$$). I can get a tool that will do it from eBay for $60, but thought I would try this route first. Sesi, the people that broke the connector in the first place want a diagnostic and a reset fee for this. It was bad enough that I had to buy the connector from them! Thanks for you feedback
