1993 Volvo 240 wagon, Upstate NY
SOLD
1993 Volvo 240 wagon. AT, 242k miles. Grey with black/charcoal grey interior.
Car is on the road, inspected, and runs strong. Clean exterior and interior. Minimal rust on exterior. Moderate rust on undercarriage. No rips in seats, nor cracks in dash. Many service records from prior owner who owned the car for several years. All receipts from the time I’ve owned the car.
New front and rear Sachs Advantage shocks and struts installed, as well as new IPD sport springs in July 2014. Newer brakes.
Odometer works but gas gauge and temp gauge do not. AC and pre-heat pipe have been deleted. Refurb Denso 100 amp alternator with new brush assembly in April 2015 and new battery in March 2015. New accessory belts in November 2014.
Car will come with a complete timing belt kit and Bosch water pump that was purchased from FCP Euro. I just never got around to installing them. Also have a few other spare parts that will be included (pics below).
2 sets of wheels – stock 14” wheels and covers on newer General Altimax HP in 205/70/14, and 15” steel wheels on Bridgestone Blizzaks in 205/60/15 in good shape.
JVC head unit with USB and Bluetooth. Gauge cluster with tachometer and auxiliary gauges at top of center stack.
Current issues that I’m aware of are: 1. power steering leak somewhere that hasn't been diagnosed. 2. cruise control doesn’t work. 3. ABS and SRS dash lights are on. Car was purchased with dash lights on, and I don’t know the underlying issues. Could be the clock spring, and I have a replacement that will be included.
$2000 OBO.
Note - pics are from soon after I purchased it, with stock 14'" wheels, rain guards for windows (removed), and older stereo (replaced with JVC).
