1) Front Slot Area Carpets (3 pcs) - This rest on your dashboard driver slot to left of gauges, center slot below the 2 air vents and passenger long slot area on your dashboard. Price is $11 + 3 shipping. $3 off normal price. This also fits 245.

2) Rear Dash Area Carpet (1 pc) - This rest on top of your current dash carpet. Price is $21 + $4 shipping. $5 off normal price.

3) Both Front and Rear Carpet (4 pcs) for $30 + $5 shipping. Save additional $4. $12 or 25% off original price.

Custom Made Carpet for Front Dash Slots on Volvo 240
Available is a brand new custom cut carpet to highlight your front dash and prevent items from slipping/moving on those slots when driving. The 3 pieces are made of a thin 5mm carpet to lie on top of dashboard slot areas: driver slot to left of gauges, center slot below the 2 air vents and passenger long slot area. They are lined with a resilient 2mm EVA foam to prevent slipping.

THE PROJECT
Being a car enthusiast and recently having purchased a 1990 Volvo 240, there were not very many places to put miscellaneous things in. And for those slotted areas on the front dashboard, they were pretty useless with stuff sliding around or falling off every time a turn was made. The goal is to update the appearance (hiding cracks on my dash) and to have a slightly more secure place to temporarily put things on.

The results are fantastic! You can see from the images how great the carpet fits and look when installed onto my 240. Really nice accents that add dimension to an otherwise old dashboard.

- Made of 5mm non-woven durable carpet, resistant to stains, fading, mold/mildew and lined with 2mm EVA foam sheet backing
- Note that each carpet is custom made by hand so please allow tolerances
- Due to age of your vehicle, your slot areas might be slightly warped which might affect the exact fitting

Custom Made Black Carpet for Rear Dash of Volvo 240

Available is a brand new custom cut carpet to update your rear dash. It is made of a thin 5mm carpet to lie on top of your current rear dash carpet. This is a simple and easy installation taking less than a minute that will make your rear dash area look brand new! The carpet is held in place by the 3 plastic push pins, window weather stripping, 3rd brake light and the rear head rest. No need to disassemble your rear dash.

THE PROJECT
Being a car enthusiast and recently having purchased a 1990 Volvo 240, the back dash (rear window) carpet/board had been cut for speakers…though the speakers where removed. It was also worn and faded after 25 years of baking in the sun. The goal is to fix those unsightly holes and make the rear look brand new.

I wanted it to be an easy DIY project for everyone and that does not involve an hour+ taking out the headrest, dash and speakers if you have them. Also, a likely concern being that the rear vents are most likely dried, like mine are, and would easy crack when trying to do this.

The results are amazing! You can see from the images how great the carpet fits and look when installed into my 240 especially with my newly painted (sprayed paint adhesive, black paint, gloss coat) rear seat belt covers!
