Default South Carolina - 96 Volvo 850 Turbo Wagon

Selling my 96 Volvo Turbo Wagon. Car has a blown headgasket. Here is a link to the Craigslist ad with lots of information about the car:

http://florencesc.craigslist.org/cto/3155309759.html

$1000 or best reasonable offer.

I also have a brand new ARD Orange level tune, M4.4 conversion that maintains OBDII complaince, and rear O2 delete. $445 value (have receipt where I *just* bought it), will let go for an extra $350. Still in the packaging.

In February '12, as I said in the ad, I had the turbo professionally rebuilt and balanced and the injectors serviced and tested. The only coolant hoses that have not been replaced are the lower radiator and the lower expansion tank. Both are easily accessible and if I realized they were not new (some were obviously new with stickers when I got the car last November) I would have done them as well. The turbo coolant hose is new (both return and supply actually), as well as the heater hoses. I also put on a new turbo oil supply line, and all new copper o-rings on everything. Also put on new plugs, wires, cap and rotor button. If it's a regular maintenance item, I probably replaced it.

Previous owner's records:

10/1/2010 - Replaced ABS/TRACS module
9/16/2010 - Replaced ABS wheel speed sensor, replaced left wiper arm.
7/29/2010 - Replaced Cam position sensor, changed oil/filter
4/01/2010 - Head gasket, timing belt and tensioner, valve guides and stem seals, oil and filter
11/24/2009 - Replaced spark plugs and wires
9/29/2009 - Replaced high and low A/C pressure switches.
8/19/2009 - Replaced fuel tank and EVAP hoses. (he probably should have checked on this one, there was a recall on the 850's fuel tank.)
6/1/2009 - Replaced radiator
3/5/2008 - Replaced hatch lift struts
11/12/2007 - Replaced cruise control vacuum pump, and right CV axle
8/22/2007 - Replaced engine with used long block, new timing belt.
8/7/2007 - Replaced both front struts, mounts, and bearings.
6/7/2007 - Replaced Turbo with new unit, and all intercooler hoses
3/30/2007 - Replaced A/C compressor, left CV axle, and MAF meter
11/16/2006 - Replaced rear brake rotors/pads, and parking brake shoes

That's the highlights of it. As you can see, he paid to replace a bunch of stuff. When I got the car, the cooling fan was not working in low speed because of a bad resistor. I believe it was never working right, and was probably why he went through two A/C compressors, two head gaskets, and an engine. It was heating up every time the car was not moving, and the A/C pressure was spiking because of no air flow. It's a shame his mechanic didn't fix the fan, both for him and me.

Anyhow, I removed the resistor so now the fan works on high speed only. The resistor is integral to the fan. I'd just pick up a used junkyard fan, if you want the two-speed function.
