Volvo '97 850 Wagon, manual transmission, pewter color, premium features, 122,000 mil
 

I have decided to part with my 1997 Volvo 850 Wagon and I am looking for a good home. The car is light pewter (almost silver) and in good condition. It is located in Boston, MA. I purchased the car off lease in 2000. VIN YV1LW5545V2330453

It is a rare 5-speed stick-shift model that is equipped with premium features including:

Leather seats, power driver’s seat, heated front seats
Premium sound system with CD and cassette player
Power Sun roof (flip-up and slide)
Roof rack
Alloy wheels
Standard features: Air conditioning, power door locks, power windows, cruise control, dual front and F&R side air bags

The stick shift (manual transmission) is exceptionally smooth and fun to drive.

This Volvo 850 has a new Bosch battery that was replaced under warranty.

The Volvo has been sitting in the garage in Boston for the past 5 years and driven very infrequently, although I have made sure the oil has been changed about twice a year.

I have found that if I leave the Volvo for a few weeks without driving it, the battery drains. Apparently this is normal. I have left the battery disconnected when not using for a period of time.

The car was in an accident in which a friend's wife backed into the driver's-side doors. Driver's door and back door were replaced. They were the same color as the original car so no painting was required. Body shop reported no other damage.

The mileage is just under 122,000 at this time.The 850 passed the Massachusetts inspection in September.

The title is clean. I have a few new Volvo oil filters and bulbs that I will throw in.

I would like to get $1900 for this rare 850 wagon, but would accept a reasonable offer. Please let me know if you would like to see additional pictures.

Please, only serious inquiries for a sale in the greater Boston area. I am posting here since I would prefer a Volvo enthusiast (not on eBay or Craig's List). I am including new plugs and ignition wires that I have not yet installed as well as some filters and bulbs.
