White s80 t6-MINT, 70k miles, all updates- Maryland
Located in abingdon MD.
Finally getting around to selling my 2001 s80 t6 twin turbo/auto trans. Here's the story: I purchased the car from the original owner with around 70k miles on it due to a blown transmission. I'm an auto technician who does alot of euro work and was looking for a nice sedan for my personal use. I restored it to like new condition, drove it for a few months, lent it to my gf, and she promptly rear ended someone doing like 15mph in the city. As you'll see in the pictures, damage consisted of a cracked bumper cover and headlight lense. Due to the airbags going off the insurance totaled the car. Heartbroken I bought it back and started restoring it. It's getting a new bumper cover installed soon, as well as wrapping up repairs to make it normal.
During my initial surgery I replaced
-HD 4t65e transmission rebuild with ALL updates by a close friend, and new converter.
-Timing belt, Drive belt, all front oil seals, valve cover seal and water pump
-Entire PCV system with IPD kit
-Turbo line seals
-Power steering hoses
-Reloomed entire harness (old wire loom was cracking off due to age)
-Starter
-Engine mounts
-Control arm bushings
-Moog inner/outer tie rods, and swaybar links
-Bumpstops
-Front rotors/ceramic pads
-Rear ceramic pads
-40% window tint all around (Legal in MD)
-Balanced tires
The original owner had done the throttle body recall/reflashes, new michellin tires, and strut mounts.
After the accident I replaced airbags, all seatbelt tensioners, and srs module. There are NO codes or check engine lights- everything works/was repaired properly.
I'm a bit neurotic with my personal cars so while I had it apart if anything looked suspect or not 100% it got replaced. I researched any common issues and failures and remedied them before they became issues. No cost's or corners spared. It rides very well, and should have no issues for a long time. Tan leather interior is in great shape sans for a drivers bolster tear which I may have repaired. Freezing AC, Hot heat, all options work. Car will be sold MD state inspected, with a rebuilt title.
ASKING 5k OBO or trade

I dont get it- Haven't had so much as a question about this thing. It really is a fantastic car that should give the new owner years of trouble free service. Are they just not bringing any money these days? Is the rebuilt title scaring people away?
