Up for sale is an 1986 Volvo 740 GLE station wagon, Unsure of actual mileage because the Odometer doesn't work. It's not the prettiest vehicle out there, But the body is solid has a rock. There is a small dent in the passenger side fender, And all of the trim is missing. The A/C does work good! Just had it all redone and converted to R-134a. The interior is 5/10 I guess, The headliner is missing, and the dash has some cracks in it. With a real good cleaning it would look good. The passenger side mirror is busted, I can pull one from the junkyard

The carpet is OK, It could use a good cleaning along with the seats

Now I will list some mechanical quirks. (This isn't anything preventing it from being driven, This thing has made several trips around town and some distances.

The engine does have a slight idle knock, It only does it when it's idling, and it's not very consistent. The valves also tick a little (Well, It does have alot of miles on it!) I was told that the valve lifters just needed to be tightened, as far as the idle knock, I'm not sure. It could just need a tune-up

The engine bay is dirty, I forgot to put the oil cap on one night (Thankfully only drove it for about 1/2 a mile, And I made sure to put oil back in, It didn't even lose any registered on the dipstick) No damage was done to the engine, or engine electronics.

The exhaust is broken, When I had it "lowered" it got snagged on a curb and broke it, I still have ALL The original muffler parts (It's abit broke, but all there) It temporary has a glass-pack muffler on it right now. The rear suspension is now repaired with new bushings, shocks and springs.

The overdrive switch DOES NOT WORK, MEANING YOU CANNOT SHIFT IT MANUALLY OUT OF OVERDRIVE! But it does have overdrive (Common problem with early model Volvo's)

I will take 600$ OR BEST OFFER! Trades excepted, I'd like a 88+ Jeep Cherokee. (Moving to Montana, Need something with 4WD)

This vehicle DOES HAVE ALOT OF MILES ON IT, But it's gotten me around alot with no problems! NEVER BEEN STRANDED ON A BACK ROAD IN THE MIDDLE OF NOWHERE WITH NO CELL SERVICE! It all works (Except a few minor things, not preventing it from being drivable)
