Default I need Lugnuts - V50

My V50 T5's lugnuts are all worn out and need a new set of 20. Please point me in the right direction - I do not want to spend $160 for the set from the dealer.

What do you mean by 'worn out'? I have 16 y.o. bolts on my 850 and they don't sparkle but they still work just fine.

You can check IPD, FCP, Erie - or maybe just run through the town and steal one from the first 20 V50's you come across? Hmmm, maybe I shouldn't encourage crimes...

Do you have links for those places? Those abbreviations mean nothing to me.

I just had new tires put on, and Sullivan Tire says they are worn - very difficult to remove them.

One of the nice things about this car, is it's one of two, in town. Not many around.
Hmm.... maybe make a tree fall on that other car, and offer to buy the lugnuts

If they're hard to get out, I'd think the hubs are a mess as well. Did they mention about them? Did they suggest using any anti-seize?

It's also very important to find the proper torque rating for the bolts and not exceed them. For example, my 850 is only 81 ft. lbs, much less than one would think. I can only imagine a shop with an impact gun is going to crank those suckers down without care and probably exceed 100 ft. lbs.

Thanks for the info!

My mechanic who did an oil change today, said there wasn't anything wrong. Whew!

Did he check them with a socket? Its common for corrosion to build up between the lug nut and the casing, causing the 19mm socket to not fit well. In most cases, you cannot tell visually.
